Measurement Preparation Checklist

Be prepared to show our estimator the rooms to be measured. Please notify us of rooms that you want us to measure for future work.

Be prepared to discuss seam placement, transition colors, and labor to be performed.

Please have area to be measured clean and free of debris so the entire area can be surveyed. When templating countertops, please have everything removed from counter space.

Please notify us of other construction that may affect the job. Including: Replacing doors, baseboards, cabinets, painting, wallpapering, staining, etc.

Please make us aware of any wiring that may be running through wall trim or the floors including security system, radiant heat, etc. 

Notify us on what labor you want us to perform and what you will have ready for us: tear our, moving furniture, etc.

Please make us aware of any job site conditions that may not be obvious to the human eye, such as squeaks, dips, high spots, etc. 

Please make us aware of any past problems in your flooring, plumbing, electric, etc. (An example would be old water damage, leaky shut off valves, etc.)

Be prepared to allow our estimator in the basement to check floor joist, shut off valves, etc. 

Show us areas you would like our installers to work and store materials, such as the garage or basement. This area is necessary to cut material, underlayment, etc.

Notify us of any discounts, coupons, gift certificates or special pricing that you have. 

Please have samples ready to return to the store, if applicable. 


A detailed estimate will be completed and presented within 48 hours of the measurement. 

Upon acceptance of the estimate, a signed copy and 50% deposit is required to start the ordering process. 

Our staff will contact you with installation dates after the material has been ordered and confirmed for delivery.
